Hello all,

Sorry for the delay in posting - lots happening on the website since mid September.

UK Stairlifts have taken some giant strides into the new millennium (better late than never) and joined Twitter. We have been tweeting on the latest updates on the site and anything else that seems relevant at the time!

You can keep up to date with our tweets on the UK Stairlifts home page or on twitter here: http://twitter.com/UKStairlifts

On the site we have been adding some interesting new articles on curved stair lifts and stair lift installation. Click on the links to read them for yourself.

We have some more articles lined up to go on the site over the coming days and weeks, so please keep checking back. If you have any stair lift related queries, we would love to hear them and will try to answer any questions you have.

We will sign-off for now and get back to work. ;-)

Wheelchair Stairlift Information Gets A Boost

Hello all!

I am posting today, having spent the last few days uploading lots of information about the Terry Lifts range of wheelchair stairlifts, platform stairlifts and vertical stairlifts.

Terry Lifts have been producing mobility products since 1948 and have a tremendous reputation in the industry. The UK Stairlifts site now has lots of information about the full range of domestic stairlifts that they currently offer.

This information has expanded our section on disabled stairlifts. Take a look using the link below:

Another addition to the site is a video of a curved stairlift in motion. Perhaps never destined to win an Oscar, the video is useful for our visitors who have perhaps never seen a stairlift working.
The video clearly illustrates how easy it is to operate a lift and the smooth ride you can expect. Take a look for yourself using the link below:

We are working to improve the site and we have some exciting developments under discussion that may appear on the site soon. We still have some great information and deals on straight stairlifts and curved stairlifts, so pay us a visit.

Bye for now,

Stair lifts in August

A busy month in prospect for August, lots happening to make improvements to the site.

We are looking to extend the information we have on the site for wheelchair platform and through floor lifts, and we are hoping to enlist the support of a major manufacturer. When we know more, we will let you know, but if everything falls into place, it should mean a lot more quality information on this type of product.

A few comments have been posted this past month, which is good to see (although I must apologise to Mike, who through a combination of holiday and a technological miss step did not receive his reply promptly - sorry Mike). This is the sort of thing we are trying to cultivate (communication, not late replies!), two way communication at first, then perhaps communication through the site between different users - sharing information, experiences and creating a more dynamic site. Keep it up!

If you are reading this blog and work at a company that sells products in a similar field to UK Stairlifts, we would love to hear from you. We have a links section that we want to populate with links to relevant information for our visitors.

If your site would be of interest to people looking for stair lifts, drop us an email through the site. I have placed a link to our contact page below:

That’s all for now - more to follow soon.

New Additions to the Site & Stair Lift Info you may not have Read

As promised a couple of new items on the website.

A new ‘thank you’ page – not the most pulse racing development, but one that was needed for people making enquires through the website. You now know when your enquiry has been submitted, a small but useful change!

As always please keep us posted on anything you spot on the UK Stairlifts site that is incorrect, out of place or in need of improvement. We always want to hear from our users.

Supporting History in Yorkshire

A much more interesting post went on the site late last week, although not stair lift related. We have been supporting a number of Yorkshire Family History Societies and doing our part to preserve the history of the county and its people. Take a look on the website by clicking on the link below.

Great Content You May Not Have Read

We have some great information on the site about some of the major players in the UK industry and their products. Each post I will try to high-light a few articles that may be of interest to you, and that you might not have come across browsing through the site yourself.

This post, I have picked out a couple of pieces on Minivator – take a look using the links below:

That’s it for another post, as ever, any suggestions, comments etc, please let us know.

Wheelchair Stairlifts and Odds & Ends

July already, where does the time go?

We have not added much to the site recently, with a host of new things to be added after this post has been written. So this will be a brief despatch.

Since the last post, UK Stairlifts have been doing our part to help preserve the history and heritage of our native Yorkshire, by supporting a number of Family History groups from across the county. We will have more on this on the site soon, along with details of the groups we have been working with, for anyone who wants to find out more. We will post again when this goes live for anyone interested.

The enquiries have been steadily arriving for all types of products, including one for a wheelchair lift. If you are interested in this particular type of stair lift we have some informative posts on the site. Take a look using the links below:

Wheelchair stairlifts – different types

There is not much else left for this post, we are keeping our powder dry for the things coming up on the site over the next few days and weeks.

Enjoy the weather!

Stairlift Enquires from Home and Abroad

Hello, I hope you are all well.

It has been a busy month here at UK Stairlifts. The enquiries have been coming in thick and fast and from far afield!

Over the last month we have had people contact us for information from Europe and South America! Thank you to those people who have started to comment on the articles on the site as well, it is most appreciated.

A new post on Cheap Stairlifts has been posted to the site in response to enquiries we have had since the site has gone live. Much of the information was already available throughout the various stair lift articles – but this particular post brings it all together, highlighting the different options available to people looking for stair lifts on a tighter budget.

Have a look at the Cheap stairlift post here and as always, let us know what you think or if you have any suggestions of your own that could save people some money.

Bye for now...
